PROFILE

Joshua Friedberg is a member of the firm’s Civil Litigation practice group, focusing on complex business and health care disputes. He works on many phases of litigation, including legal research, writing client memoranda, drafting motions and briefs, document management, preparing discovery requests and responses, and helping prepare cases for arbitration and trial. 

Before joining the firm, Joshua represented survivors of childhood abuse across California. In this capacity, Joshua led investigations, appeared and argued in court, and drafted a variety of motions and briefs. 

During law school, Joshua served as a Senior Editor for UC Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly, the nation’s longest running legal journal devoted entirely to constitutional scholarship. He also served as a mediator for the San Francisco Superior Court in his capacity as a member of UC Hastings’ Mediation Clinic, which is consistently ranked as one of the top Alternative Dispute Resolution programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report. 

While pursuing his law degree, Joshua served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Alka Sagar, United States Magistrate Judge, Central District of California.
